Family, Friends, and Peers, I reach out to you for some immediate help and attention. Long story short, I will need a kidney match for a possible transplant if I wish to extend my life. No joke. Most of you who read this letter will not need a backstory but be willing to help story untold. (I’m grateful for my friends and family that will help in any way possible). Mainly I request your support getting word out, as the more people explore donating a kidney, the better the chances of my survival. I am faced with my mortality and have been fighting to stick around for 6 months now. Please help me continue the fight and read on below to see how you can help even if you can’t donate a kidney.

How to Help:

1. If you are willing to take basic steps to see whether you could be a possible living kidney donor (qualifications are ‘in good health’ and either O or B type blood) please go to this Jefferson Health website to start the screening process. You can forego your social and any personal health info you do not want to share at this time, and still submit the basic form to learn more. When prompted, fill in my name Ti Pham and DOB 01/09/1976. Filling out the form will prompt a call from my Living Donor Program Coordinator, Kristina who will share about this amazing and reputable program and discuss options should you wish to be screened as a possible match:

2. I know number 1 above is a big ask, so what I really want you to do to help is to get the word out on my behalf. Point your friends and family to this website HelpTiPham.com or Kidney4TiPham.org. They both point to the same website. The more people know the more likely the chances a successful match can be made. I expect the match to be a friend of a friend of a friend. That’s how it’s been turning out for others in need of a kidney. Get word out on any social media you have. I don’t use social media besides LinkedIn. I will be sending this message out to all my connections.

3. I have been approached by several people on how they can financially help me. The medical bills are piling up, but luckily, I have insurance, a HSA account, and emergency funds that I have been relying on and we are currently okay financially. If you do wish to provide financial support, please consider this PA529 website,

which is currently setup for our first daughter, Isadora, but will soon include our 6-month-old, Seneca. My concern, should I no longer be around, is my daughters’ educations. I’d be most grateful if you could help ensure they are unburdened from any financial obstacles for their future education.

4. Please read My Story to understand the complexities of my journey towards health. I am hoping this may also help anyone who is going through similar health issues; that you can learn from my mistakes and tribulations.

I’m grateful for the friends that I have made along the way. People that I know will help with just a mere request, a loyalty and friendship that I hardly deserve.

Well friends, I need your help now.

Raise your horns and let people know I need help. The kidney donor match is what I need to stick around. I need to be around for my girls and your friendship will facilitate that. Thank you in advance and know I appreciate anything and everything you can provide.
